ok, so i got bored with xanga. as last semester ended i got so busy, i just haven't really bothered with it. the last time i updated was when thadd proposed in october! lol.  it's been a while. this is my last semester in boone before student teaching in teh fall somewhere...thadd and i set a date for june 30, 2007...and i'm going to germany for a month right before the wedding. everyone thinks i'm crazy, but i just told them that my mother can't reach me on an everyday basis while i'm overseas...which is fine and dandy with me! lol. don't get my wrong...i love my mother...but she's basically planning my wedding for me...and it's pissing me off.! thadd promised he wouldn't let her change everything we've worked on while i'm gone, so that's good. he's just mad that now she's going to bother him with all the wedding stuff he doesn't care about. lol

but since i haven't posted in a while, i thought i'd do a survey....and who better to steal one from than the queen of surveys herself, ms. lauren whisnant! lol

such a pretty day today....too bad it will probably be one of the last since we're getting towards the end of september already. sadness. i like when it's sunny, yet cool. might go up to the parkway today and hike rather than work out else where....

anyway....i hate having so much on my mind....or worse....knowing i should do a lot of things better and not pushing myself. i said this year was going to be different...b/c it's my last...but so far....well, it's been no where close.
                   -i promised myself i would practice more....so far, i've failed. i started off really great at the beginning of the semester...now...i'm slacking off. i can't. i need to show people i really am a senior...and have been playing and improving for 4 years. lately i've gotten a gut check by all the underclassmen and how good they are and how much they practice. that was me once. what happened?

                   - i promised myself i would make it to the gym more...so far...like twice i've gone. i've got rock climbing twice a week,...and i can tell a difference...sort of. more muscle...but still too much fat. gaining muscle doesn't help when i look at a scale either.

                  - i promised myself i wouldn't procrastinate, and i would get work done way before the night it's due. failing miserably at this one. after 3 years of late nights...u'd think i would have learned my lesson. nope. guess it's going to take something more.

lots of other things...but those are the big 3....don't want to be too depressing. off to play guitar....test tomorrow.

ps....new love is about the cutest thing i've ever seen. it's fun to see two people who really like each other and are just now starting to realize it good luck u two...u r adorable.
